Synopsis

The clumsy ape man from Jay Ward's 1967 television cartoon takes on a jungle of another kind in live-action when he follows a visiting San Francisco resident back to the City by the Bay.

The irrisistibly charming George of the Junlge debuts on the silver screen after his legacy as a '70's cartoon hero. In this tale of valiant rescuers, amorous love with beautiful career woman Ursula (Leslie Mann), and the opportunity to live as a human with all the comforts of modern-day life. George returns to his jungle abode to fights off loathsome poachers, defending his friends - the wise Ape, The Tookie Tookie bird and his trusty elephant Shep - in the animal kingdom.
