Synopsis

Movie director McCrea is weary of making popular comedies - like So Long, Sarong - and decides to produce a serious film about social injustice - "a true canvas of the suffering of humanity." He sets out to research the film with only ten cents in his pocket. During his unsettling journey, a Mickey Mouse cartoon helps him understand the value of bringing joy to the common man.
